Flight Times
Flying to Mexico from the NZ will depend a lot on where exactly you’re flying to or from. For example, flights to the capital, Mexico City will take around four to six hours, but flights to Guadalajara can take as little as three hours from certain parts of the country.
Entry Requirements
If travelling from the United States, you don’t need a visa and will be able to stay for up to six months with a valid passport.
However, you will need to fill out a Mexico Visitor’s Permit (FMM), which is a simple form usually passed out on your flight before you land, or can be acquired at the airport. This will usually be valid for 180 days.
There’s also a $22 fee to all tourist and business travellers to Mexico, although this is usually covered in your airline fee.
